But four hills this morning & they all were deliberate!!!

A wee birdy told me that our local park run has 2 hills, so I thought I should give them a go. I was amazed that they weren't the torture I expected & the sense of achievement was great.

If you only ever run on the flat, it's well worth adding in a wee incline or two - it certainly builds your stamina!

Excellent, I love little inclines now, great to get you to challenge yourself. Four Hills, sounds like a wine or a hotel! Well done you! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻👏🏻👏🏻😀😀

Your right about the hills. I do one hill which is last 500 metres of my run back home. . Think it's a lot of mind over matter. I even used to dread idea of running up little canal lock gate inclines.

You would think that we would all have learned from experience that our bodies can do almost anything when they have to. Even dragging ourselves to work when don't feel like it !

Doing my first park run next Saturday but it is flat all round a park I know reasonably well. So it should be as they say "Like a walk in he park" !

We all like a challenge and better still the sense of achievement after. Well done !

It sure does! Hills are very hard work though if you are new to running (as per C25kers) so if you can't manage them then give them a miss til you've graduated as they can put you off.

Hats off to you though for tackling them as they do help with stamina and lung power. They are good for your abs too! You can feel your abs working as you climb the hill.

Take very great care on the downhills. Keep yourself under control. You can fly down em when your running legs are fully built!
