Ooooh I just spotted me! You've been busy. Have you done all your cards as well? I would have but after walking the dog and running I couldn't be bothered. What excuse will I find for not doing them tomorrow?
My husband had the bright idea of going Christmas shopping last Sunday. We never go shopping together, so I was more than a little taken aback. We were getting in the car when he announced that we couldn't be long as he had to fix the mower!

I think the best thing for lawns is chickens! He came home from work once and I'd installed chickens. I thought he was going to faint! Ha ha
Do you eat them or just their eggs? 🤔 Do they eat the grass? 🤔 Perhaps I should buy a cow! 😂 That'd please the neighbours! 😉
Got 17 in the back yard here - brilliant things if messy as heck sometimes 
Fresh eggs are just a perfect start to the day. Poached and served on a bed of spinach. Eggs florentine, yum yum. 😊🍳

Just eggs! They do eat grass! Veritable lawn mowers! You can hear them, scissoring the grass, manuring it as they go. They also do a fab job of moss. No moss on their lawns oh dear me no. They cleared my lawn of moss pdq. It looked like an explosion in a mattress factory! They keep it aerated. It looked better than it had ever done, apart from the craters! You provide them with dust bathing areas but they never go where you want them to.
I don't have any now though. Just lots of moss. Sigh
Oh wobble, 😕 did they go to chicken heaven? What happened? I hired a scarifier once for my lawn. Never had chickens 🐔 Don't actually think it's allowed in my property deeds! Seem to remember reading something about not being able to keep livestock . . . Every cloud wobble, moss is very soft underfoot 😀

Yeah they did. They were old though and had lovely lives. Their house was better than ours! A happy hen lays lots of eggs and they never let me down bless em. A bang fresh egg is a thing of wonder. The white is like jelly and makes the most perfect poached egg. Ah happy days

That is the great thing, isn't it Oldfloss? It's not as though I am going to miss out, I'm just on a sabbatical at the moment. And I think I'll appreciate my running all the more, when I get out there, if that's possible. Happy running to you. Are your ribs nearly 100% healed?
They are,thank you... much sooner than I expected too.. I just need to find the time to post my first post IC, run, which was last Sunday... done two short, but Sunday was 5K.. so I was thrilled. It was really, as you say appreciated.. like a first run almost! Working on words for our carol too!
