How was your appointment yesterday? Is the sacro-thing any better?

Awww thank you so much for thinking of me. It's my glutes that are too tight putting pressure on my sacroiliac joint, so he has given me some one legged squats and one legged glute bridges to do. Boy they are hard work but I can really feel the muscles being whipped in to shape. I have to do that three times a week and a good glute stretch daily but the great news is that he hasent stopped me running, not allowed to sit for too long, not that there is much chance of that this time of year 😀. So luckily all positive stuff. I could just kick myself because. Had a feeling for while things were a bit tight and I didn't do anything about it. At least I am on the case now, I'll see him again in two weeks.

Excellent report! I wonder if one of those foam rollers would help....

(but don't kick yourself, then you'll just end up with more injury... lol)

May I ask where is your sacro thingy? Sorry it's been bothering you and hope you are on the mend! 😊

Of course you may. Its my sacroiliac joint. Its a ball and socket joint you have just above your hips on each side. Mine have got inflamed in the past but have been behaving for the last 7 years and just started playing up after a bout of stress that set my arthritis off. But already i feel i am getting better thankfully. Thank you for asking 😀.

Gosh, there's so much to learn about your body as well as running technique, shoes, clothes, technology. . . Can't wait to get my first copy of Runners World 🌎 Glad to hear you're on the mend. 😊👏🏻

Thank you, I have been running for over 3.5 years and I swear I still feel like a novice. 😀.

The one legged exercises sound like very hard work!
