So today I received a link from the race I did on Saturday to my personal Race Video!!!! I didn't even know such a thing existed!!! Trying to spot myself in each clip was like playing a personal version of 'Where's Wally!' Watching myself run ๐โโ๏ธ and listening to the up beat 'running' music, bought all the memories and exhilaration flooding back and I felt like a proper professional runner (even though I've only done one 4.8km race! ๐ ๐น๐น๐น๐น) I think the technology and organisation it takes to put these together for each runner is incredible and makes such a special souvenir of the race. I am chuffed to bits with it and after watching it a couple of times, I couldn't help but put on my running kit and go for a run despite it being 0 degrees and pitch dark outside๐!!! I think this video is going to help get me out a lot on these cold winter days. This running malarkey just keeps on giving. ๐๐๐ I Love it โค๏ธ!!!
I have also just registered for my second race (Laura didn't warn us how addictive this can be did she?) a 5km on 21st January, again in Geneva Switzerland, where all the runners are encouraged to wear lights and fluorescents (it starts at dusk) and the park will be lit up with thousands of lights. It's part of the Antigel Festival antigel.ch if anyone fancies it!!! (Non French speakers will need Google Translate.) I think it'll be a lot of fun!!!
Happy Running everyone.
