and went for a run. Managed 4 miles, then a mile walk back home. I haven't run on Southampton Common for a while, apart from weekly Parkrun, and today I decided to do a totally different route. Off I went up Cemetery Road and into the old cemetery. It's really interesting there and today I passed the graves of a headmaster of the local grammar school, a comedian, the boy who was struck by lightening. Gave the South American dictator a miss today 
It was cold but lovely and bright, and I took my earphones out to listen to the birdsong. And for the first time in ages I enjoyed every minute of my run.
