Well how about that for commitment? I'm still sporting my knee injury π€, but have just subscribed to RW for a year! Very excited to think that I shall soon be receiving a sporty magazine, beginning with the February issue, every month. π€ I must have ticked the wrong box however, as it thinks it's a "gift" from me to me, well I suppose in a way, it is! Apparently it covers 5k, 10k, HM and FM. Something for everyone. Probably has a section on injuries too! Happy running everyone! ππΌββοΈππ»ππΌββοΈππ»ππ
It's a Runner's World!: Well how about that for... - Couch to 5K

It's a Runner's World!

Yup you've got it bad now...... I get Womens Running every month - it was a gift from my step-daughter and she got me a two year subscription! It's so exciting to see it land on my mat π There are some great tips.
Ooh now, Womens Running, I didn't know about that one! Still, I shall enjoy my "one for all" when it arrives!
I often buy WR too - and leave it in the office kitchen for others to ponder (since that's where I first came across an old copy from a long-departed administrator. I like to see it as sharing the joy...!).

Great idea for a gift Flossie! I've added it to my list ππΌπ

oooh glad you reminded me! My niece texted me just now asking for gift suggestions.! Thanks Flossie, you're a star! Didn't I always say so! Scrabbles on untidy desk looking for phone ..................
I'm sure the subscription to the magazine will serve you well, Flossie. I simply buy it for the instalments of Tonky Talk . If you've never picked up a copy and don't quite know what I mean, you soon will.
Additionally, there's also a Runners World forum (runnersworld.co.uk/forum).
Sounds intriguing. Now I can't wait. π
I hope you enjoy Tonky Talk (provided courtesy of comedian Paul Tonkinson) as much as I do, in addition to the wealth of running and general health articles.

Great gift to yourself

I got it! Women's Running subscription that is π
I'll be on tenterhooks waiting for the postie π

Runners World looks great on the coffee table when friends visit
I want that for Christmas!
Often do have excellent articles on injuries and strengthening exercises, I hope the knee is improving.
Never knew so much about bits of the body before getting involved in running!
That's true! Especially different parts of the knee! Never realised how complicated it seems to be! Just thought it was the patella with a few "rubber band bits" around it! LOL π
