Every single run I've done ends with the hill coming out of the park. I decided this morning I didn't want to end with that hill - I would just have a longer walk at the end.
Easily organised - just run a bit further in the park, and time my wk7r3 25 min run to finish just before the hill.
Cracking morning - beautiful light & off I went.
I added the extra distance & loved running through the woods, and then began my return. I soon realised that I'd forgotten the thing I'd noticed in weeks 2 & 3, i.e. my third run of each week is always faster than runs 1 & 2!!! There I was at the bottom of hill with still just over 2 mins to run!!!
Seems I'm destined to finish my runs with the hill after all!

Great post! Funny how we sometimes get faster at the end of the week. I guess we're getting used to the runs that week! Just think what good those hills are doing you. 😀😀🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Imagine how fast your finishes will be when you get to do them on the flat ☺
I ran somewhere yesterday that is a place I regularly walk. I even figured out a few small detours to avoid still being running when I got back to the locked gate at the start. All well and good. What I didn't realise was that I'd feel the urge to speed up when I heard 'you've only got a minute left'! Cue one very sharp right turn (complete with dog) towards a load of childsize, Sunday League footballers.
