W9 R3 in daylight what a fun way to start the weekend after a early morning Massage.

Hi Folks,

Firstly I must thank you all, for the posts, advice and smiles that you have given me over the past nine weeks.

This morning I had a battle of wills! I awoke at 5.30 and I was already excited about the final run. I had decided that my run would be in daylight, so I wouldn't get out of bed before Dawn. (Thats a time of day, not a girlfriend)

"Will doze, till it's light" I thought. Wrong! We have two Ragdolls, (Cats) and one of them decided that my head required re-shaping. He ran over it twice then started to massage it whilst Meowing. So much for a lay in.

I was up but I didn't leave the house till 8am.

I had Laura tell me to start the warm up walk and then I was off and running.

Some drinkers around here may envisage a Gazelle at this point. I would lean more towards a Bison and you can't wash your hands in the type I mean.

There was a lot of cloud and the air felt damp, but I was warm and even the first five minuets of running were fun. I was loving the fact that I could see colours as I ran. Normally everything has an orange tint, due to the street lighting. I hit my stride quite quickly and settled into a nice pace. I was looking at the white horses cutting across the harbour. The yachts and boats, bobbing about everything was great.

Yes you have guessed correctly, a huge grin was plastered across my face.

This running lark is fun, I didn't notice my legs for the next fifteen minuets as I was enjoying the run and sights so much. The final ten minuets of my run is uphill and my legs ached a bit as the gradient had it's effect. (My own fault for missing a rest day) But what the heck, I ran through the pain and the grin got so big that I had to be careful that I didn't swallow a low flying seagull.

In all I had a fantastic run and to top it all ,I have lost another 2 lbs so thats 35 Lbs Iv'e lost so far.

All the best to everybody, have a good run and a great weekend.

Couch to 5K is great!

Cheers
