Little High, Little Low, Little High, Little High (life's a lot like running)

Finished Saturday on a high having done better than I'd hoped in the MoRun.

Then Sunday dawned along with the realisation that I hadn't seen my trainers since I'd left my daughter's house. And worse, that the last place I remember seeing them was on the roof of my car *face palms*.

On the plus side, lots of places still had "Black Friday" offers going so I managed to find a pair of trail runners, in my size, at almost half price AND I also managed to sell a pair of trainers, online, that I can't actually run in - because they're too narrow - to help offset the cost \0/.

Today dawned sunny and warm - you know, for the end of November - and perfect for more running, except... no trainers :(

Not to be beaten, I thought I'd risk doing W6: R1 in a pair of lightweight hiking shoes.

I'll be honest, I really hope the new trainers arrive ASAP, but it also wasn't awful. Roll on W6: R2!

Oh no! Losing my running shoes would be my worst nightmare! If you get any niggles running in non-running shoes then prob best to wait for them to arrive. After getting injured due to running in rubbish shoes I would say keep an eye on how they are feeling. Fingers crossed they arrive quickly! New shoes photo on the forum is mandatory! :)
