I graduated 2 months ago and I'm still running. I've done at least 3 runs every week since, I've also added in yoga and bike riding. Life has really changed. I never thought I'd feel this comfortable running.

I broke the 5k 30 min barrier a few weeks back! It felt amazing πŸ˜‰. Lately I've been running in terrible winds, yesterday I ran 5k in 26min 54 sec without any wind. My fastest run by far!

It does get easier and even more enjoyable. That what I just want everyone who's wondering to know. I never thought I'd be this comfortable running.

Keep up your training guys πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…

Ps at graduating I was doing 5k in about 33 mins.

I'm happy to read this :) my 5K time is around 33 minutes now... I was starting to feel like I'd never crack 30 minutes... but I see you got there! so hopefully it will happen for me soon :P

Are you doing any sort of podcast plan now?

Sorry it took me ages to get back...

I started on the graduate podcasts, I was doing the speed one once a week. Slacked off a bit though, still running 3 times a week.

I use the run keeper app now though. So I can keep my pace up. It gives you your pace and speed. I know I flag in my 2nd and 3rd k, I worked on that. The last km I push to get the time up though. I find knowing your pace just helps to move your legs.

Good luck. You can do it!
