Just done my week8run 2 😊hard going the day!!! A bit slower & less distance so I definitely think I'm a night runnerπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Still find the continuous runs hard going maybe I have to much expectations as I thought , wrongly, it might get a bit easier!!! I'm obviously not a natural runner!!! Feel great after the run just wish I had that feeling while runningπŸ˜€πŸ˜€ as I'd like to keep this running going... Anyway on a positive note I bought lights for my bike ( better dust the cobwebs of first!!) and il maybe try cycling on rest days to build up my stamina!! Please all you graduates tell me it will get easier & I will love itπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒPhyllis x

I know what you mean. After about 5 minutes I just want to stop then I think that's ridiculous, you've done further than this!! I think it's running continuously, as you say, that's the hard bit. Well done you though, I am about to embark on week 8 tomorrow. Will be interesting how that goes. I reckon I ran 3.5k in my last run on week 7

The first five minutes or even ten, for many of us are hard... lots of research on this and posts on here too! Keep it low, and keep it steady.. it is stamina we have to aim for, not speed or distance. This is your journey.. enjoy it :)

Well done you :)

Takes me 12 minutes to settle every single run. But I now know that is the case so it helps me get to the 13th minute and beyond! Try plotting when you begin to relax into it, it may helpπŸ˜ƒπŸƒπŸ»πŸ‘Ÿ

Well... no-one will tell you it will be easy, what they will tell you though, it is going to be so, worth it :)

Just go, slow, slower and then slow it some more... enjoy the journey and take it steady! It is not about speed or distance, just steady and gentle.:)

The cycling and any other exercise on rest days are great.. strength and flex exercises, linked on the C25K site are great too.

You are doing amazingly, and whilst I cannot promise that you will find it easy, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt...you will love it! :)

Ah I hope so 😊😊I'm going to look at strength & flex as a niggle in my knee but ok when running its if I go down stairs or try squats !! Ok not very many of squats just heard it might strengthen knee! Onwards we goπŸ˜„πŸ˜„......
