W7R2 of C25k + supporting dodgy ankles when running

Hello everyone. This is my first post but I have been lurking in the background for some time, following all of your wonderful posts with interest. I find you all very inspiring, and I know that belonging to this forum has been a major contributor to keeping me on track. So thank you all.

I do have a question I am hoping someone may be able to assist with. I am a supinator (run/walk more on outside of foot) and my ankles regularly and without warning flip outwards on me leaving me inelegantly sprawled on the dust/concrete/gravel/mud. This hurts, and also gives me an increased risk of sprains and other damage. I have recently got new running shoes which are helping somewhat, but I was wondering if there was any other way to support my ankles and prevent that sudden twist and plummet?
