Completed w4 r1 on Monday and coped very well, w4 r2 this morning and it was a struggle to get through. I did manage to complete it but was hard work and have pains in my thighs. What's wrong was I going too fast as I had been feeling happy after completing r1, maybe I was too confident π

Do you have a Garmin or anything that indicates your speed? Perhaps you went off too fast? But remember we all have the odd bad run.. hopefully your next run you will feel good again. Well done for completing and pushing through
It's still quite muggy out there so our running is affected by that. Are you stretching after each run? Just keep running very slowly and put this run behind you, you've done it now so forget about it and move on to the next one.

I did the same this morning and like you, stuggled through. I completed it, but only just. π I was kinda expecting this, as my second runs always seem harder, but I was taken off-gaurd by how much harder it was. I agree that the heat and humidity might have Been a factor (I think it made a huge difference for me). Maybe just chalk it up to an off day, but don't get too disheartened, in the end you DID complete it! π
Agree with other posts; humidity a factor. Berni my OH is in Malaysia and still following the programme at the air conditioned hotel Gym and found no issues with week 5 . here in the uk, I too struggled round in the heat. Good luck for week 5
