After the support from this forum yesterday, I was feeling positive about today's 25 minute run. It was raining here this morning, and snuffly teenage daughter declined to join me, claiming she doesn't want to start 6th Form with pneumonia! It was my first rainy run, but I donned my fleece and set out with Sarah Millican and Radio 4 for company. Somehow I managed to turn off the app after ten minutes, but fortunately I was running MapMyWalk so I measured the time that way. So between muttering and fiddling with the tech, extracting myself from my fleece and tying it around my waist without stopping and fuming at the various politicians on the Today programme, I didn't focus overly much on my running and the 25 minutes was shorter than expected! I am really proud of myself, as at the start of this programme I could barely run for a minute! So, thank you for the support and I am almost looking forward to week 7!

Yay well done tortoisegirl - I just knew you could do it. So now we are both into week 7. We've both done the run once so we can definitely do it again.
Well done. My smile just got wider and wider from this point on - hope yours does too 😀😀
