A morning run / walk round Lyme Park about 10k

My wife and I went to Lyme Park yesterday to run an unofficial 5k which was then extended to take in some of the wonderful views on offer. With elevation gains of 305m (equivalent to 104 flights of stairs according to my wife's fitbit!), mostly over some loose trails, (hence the walking) we reached the pinnacle of the run and headed back down to Lyme Hall around the mill pond to complete a 10k in a total time of 1:23:15!

The first 5k split was done in approx 39m:28s the second 5k was much slower given the terrain in 43m :47s.

Here's a photo from yesterdays run from the top looking down to The Cage.
