A Gap in the Market? ;)

I hate running uphill as I'm not fit enough yet. I tolerate running on the flat for the smug feeling when I'm done.

HOWEVER... I totally love running downhill. I run at full pelt as though someone is chasing me, and feel very free and almost giggly. The knowledge that I might fall at any minute only adds to the excitement.

I think there's a gap in the market for someone to drive people like me to the top of hills so we can run down them. :)

Someone should construct mini chairlifts like they have in the Alps!

That is the best idea I've heard in ages! I'd definitely be up for that, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets an attack of the giggle monsters when careening down a hill😂

You should sometimes do a hill, it helps with stamina, and they do get easier using the correct technique...

A couple of times I've driven down to the bottom of the hill that is an unavoidable part of my route and run up to to my house for the joy of being able to run back down again afterwards! Much better to go up while you have a bit more energy at the beginning!!

A very good idea, I also look forward to a downhill as it is a sort of "rest" for the legs. Watch out on hard ground though, I gained a shin injury pounding down a hill at speed. There may even come a day when you tackle an uphill challenge!

I live at the top of a hill, and I've begun warming up at home and running straight from my door - I love it too! It also means you get a head start of speeeed!

Great minds think alike - I've already checked out a longish route that's pretty much downhill all the way, I'm going to get my husband to drive me there so I can run back!

I hate hills. When I'm at the bottom I look up and it seems to go on forever. I say to myself

"its a hill, get over it". And I do. Haven't hit any really big hills yet, but they are there to give you the joy of running down the other side - pleasure / pain principle.
