She's a cheeky one that Laura😜

I have just completed W6r3! That means I ran for 25 mins - me☺️. It wasn't fast, I didn't get the energy to run faster for the last minute as suggested, but I did run consistently for 25 whole minutes!!! 😊 Me!!! Run!!! 25 mins!!! 😊

I feel Laura is cheeky for 2 reasons: 1) because she gives the option of repeating a different run during the 5 min warm up walk ( making repeats official - I didn't fall for that one!!) and 2) because after being there every 5 mins, she decides not to speak until 7and 1/2 minutes have passed! I was thinking - this 5 mins is a long one!!! I've forgiven her now it's overπŸ˜‰

Well done you for completing W6 it is nice to see you so positive and still proving to yourself and others you can do it. Keep going you are now ready for W7 and hopefully can see the light at the end of the tunnel

I think I can see the light! I certainly feel like I've come out of the dark regarding my fitness πŸ˜€

You will be fine next week is just running like today no more intervals so you can just concentrate on the slow jogging

I can remember starting this in week 1 and thinking to myself - if I could do this every other day for the rest of my life, it's more than I've ever done before.' Now I'm thinking - 30 mins is only 5 more minutes than I've done today!!! I am really tempted to do week 1 again, just to see what it's like. It felt so hard, but look how far I ( and everyone else) have come!!! It's amazing 😊

Save that one up until you have finished then you can see how for you have gone. I going to try W6R3 tomorrow very tentatively as I had a slight knee niggle on monday which seems to have gone now

Go for it manofkent62. I wasn't sure this morning - it looked a bit rainy πŸ˜‚. I am not yet in a position where I think 'I could have done a little bit more' and I smile at the Olympic runners who need a 'slowing down' period in order to stop - I am quite able to stop as soon as Laura announces I've finished!!! If there are medals for slow and steady though, I think I'd be in the running ( if you'll pardon the pun!!! πŸ˜‰)

Yay! Well done you. Big pat on the back is well deserved. You're nearly there :-) Not got to Laura giving me options yet, will beware of the temptation :-D

I actually cannot believe it RunningGeek. I do wonder if it is actually me running when I'm running! It's a bit like an out of body experience πŸ˜‚. Definitely avoid the temptation when dangled in front of you 😊

That's exactly what I thought! I thought she was going to jump out of the bushes and say ' I told you that you could repeat!!!' πŸ˜‚

What a great 25 minute run and it is your hard work that made it happen. On to week seven...............and beyond.........πŸ™‚πŸ™ƒπŸ™‚πŸ™ƒπŸ™‚πŸ™ƒβ˜ΊοΈ

I can't believe it Ellymeg! I still keep thinking 'did I really do that?' - then I stand up and everything feels a bit stiff and I think 'oh yes I did!' πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‘

isn't it great when a plan comes together. You've done 25 minutes now and in your heart you KNOW you can complete the course. You just have to do the next few weeks then print your barcode off and finish with Parkrun :)
