Oi! Rest days are still important you little tinker!
Sadly the IC is littered with new runners tempted to overdo it.
So rest now until you are due to do R2 - you don't want anything to spoil graduation week!
PLEASE be really careful. My version of C25K is the US one and the last three runs go 28, 30, 35. I did the whole programme religiously and while I had to repeat stages a fair lot I was injury free...untill that last 35. I kind of new it was too much of a jump from 30 but I went ahead and did it and darn near scuppered myself. I did not feel it THAT day - it was the day after I that when the excruciating pain hit my foot. Luckily I was able to devote a lot of RICE time to it and it seems to have died down, but I really wish I had not pushed myself like that. It is NOT worth it becuase not only do you lose your FORMER confidence, you lose more. I was scared to death and ran the slowest ever when I went out and instead of feeling 'victorious' that I managed to finish the run I felt nervously relieved. So please - do be careful.
I got to Grad run injury free, then hurt my knee on that one. Won't go into boring details, but one week later pushed to first 5K. And regretted it. It has taken me six weeks to gradually ease back up to running for 30 mins, so y advice is : take it easy. Good luck!
