the fastest tortoise in town

I've just come back from finishing my second W2 repeat(it's been so long since I exercised I'm building at a gentle pace) and I was laughing to myself that I'm in danger of being overtaken by tortoises, when it occurred to me that tortoises may be slow, but they live to be about 150, right? And have you ever heard of a tortoise with a wardrobe stuffed with old shells they just can't fit into anymore?

So now I'm thinking slow like a tortoise is an aspiration, so long as you're out there.

Aw I love this, its so sweet !

Well done Simon, honestly it doesn't matter a jot how " slow " you go. Slow is good, slow builds good runners legs and strong foundations !

Be more Tortoise ! :-) xxx

Tortoise is good. Somewhere on here there is a post about running slow and living longer and healthier! I'm only just starting to reach tortoise pace - just a fast snail at the moment :-)

I think of myself as a plodder but I'm such a happy plodder. If your pace is good for you that's all that matters. I think if I wasent a tortoise already I might just aspire to be one after your description 😀
