Oh why did I think it was a good idea to start this during the hottest week of the year? But am pleased with myself for managing w1r2. Be glad when it cools off though.

It's always a good idea to just get going! I started in deepest darkest freezing cold and wet January and thought I was bonkers (actually I think all runners are! Lol). When you decide to do it I think it's best to just get on with it before you have a chance to talk yourself out of it! Good luck 🍀

Thank you. 1 run at a time is the way to go I think.

Absolutely, best of luck, just follow the plan, go at your own pace and you will succeed. If I can do it then anyone can.

This heat is a real energy sapper isn't it? But you did it and you're doing it. Getting started is the biggest hurdle and you're over that one already. Well done!

Wow!! Hats off to you! I don't think I could have started this in this heat 😓

Loads of motivation there! Just think how much easier it will be for you when the weather cools down :)

Ha! Totally with you there! I did my start in reverse, last November when the wind was like a brick wall to run against and every other day it peed down!!!! I told myself if I could run in that kind of weather (bloody cold too!) I could run in anything ... how wrong was I when this weeks weather hit??!! Been going out at 5am as only hope of me moving myself ... getting in from work then going out is a killer anyway but not in this heat so well done, keep going and see how you feel when winter comes ... ;-)

Well done getting started. I find the heat completely saps my energy so if it does get really hard, be aware that it is the weather and not your limitations. It would be ok to pause till the worst of the heat is passed and then get back into it. Keep yourself hydrated and good luck to you!

Thanks. Daren't pause - I may fall off the wagon! Am determined to keep going with just a short blip when I go away.
