New PR on the 3k distance after a week of not running

I didn't run for a week but did lots of other physical activity (see previous post for details), so I was a bit worried about my run yesterday, but it turned out to be my best 3k so far in 0.22.51.

🐌 🐌 🐌 Still snail running, but improving.

Well done! PBs are always good. You obviously didn't lose any fitness during your holiday - but I'm not surprised with all the timber you lugged around. Sounds like an exciting holiday, but I don't think I'd get my hubby to do anything like that - he loves his creature comforts too much!

I compare myself with the '5k in 30 minutes' standard. I know I don't have to, but it is a kind of reference point. I'm not saying I won't be happy with my speed even if I never reach 5k in 30 min. But to me, people who run faster than that are fastπŸ˜ƒ
