I knew I had to find a different route, in week 4 I was running out of road on the loop I was doing I really wanted to try a hill!!

So I made a detour to include running up over the A46 bridge, They are quite severe on a bicycle. I made it up and over to the other side, turned round at the last grate and ran back over the top to find hubby huffing and puffing on his bike :-)

The route was plenty long enough had probably seven minutes warm down, felt amazing running five whole minutes three times . I can run!!

  • You can indeed - and tackling hills too! Although they are hard work, they really do make you stronger.

  • Thanks Ullyrunner, Funnily enough they seem steeper when riding a bike.

    I'm really enjoying the running and because there's structure with Laura I'm working to a goal, slowly and surely getting there.
