Well for my 2nd run after graduation I decided to repeat wk9 run 3 but increase the running time by 10% if I felt it was doable.

Upped the pace slightly as well every ten minutes and then increased a little more for my last added on 3 minutes. Felt a very comfortable 33 minute run. Loved it!!! So much better than my first run after graduation. I feel flippin fantastic!!! 😍

Good for you - and thank you for sharing as I'm nervous about what to do after 2 runs time!

Thanks Spongecake X

Tbh run 1 was not good as I felt a bit lost after the program; so decided I needed a plan and an aim and the aim is to achieve running 5k comfortably, regardless of the time

No matter how much I try..I just don't manage to increase my speed :( I will just have to plod along and hope it comes with time :)

It's a very gradual .1 increase; I'm still slow as a snail! Lol

That sounds very good. Upping speed and adding time! ☺

It was good, but didnt push it too much so that i couldn't do it. I wanted to do the time x

Oh, that's good to know. Was a bit alarmed by all our post-graduation horror stories! It sounds like a really good idea. My plan is to change my playlist to 30 minutes of 150bpm songs and try to have more and more time running at that pace, to speed up my slow shuffle. Nothing lost if I don't, and I can break step as and when I need but still do 30 minutes.

Yes me too Als mum. After the other day i was wondering if completing the program was a fluke! So i needed to remind myself that i did do it and can do it ☺

Good Luck with your next run x

I'm sure there will be mojo and gremlin days coming and going all the time, but you know the mojo is always there, just sometimes it likes to hide behind the clouds πŸ˜‚

Doing fab Slinky. It's great to have a plan. I have been using the asics app. Next step for me is a very slow build up to 10k.

Goals are good but sometimes it is just nice to run x

Yeah well done!! Really pleased to see that you be made a" doable" plan. I am just taking extra rest day at the moment as this week I seem to have been overcome by absolute tiredness which is not like me at all but I think I just have to sit back and listen to my body

I think sometimes extra rest days are good and you're doing best by listening to your body rather than trying to run and having a bad one or even worse getting injured. We've come so far we don't want to ruin it now X

Good luck for your next run Tom; hope it goes well for you; let us know how you get on πŸ‘
