So I did Week 5 run 1 yesterday evening, but it was weirdly hard. I did stop half way through the second five minute run as I had to chat to my neighbour for ten minutes! Do you guys know if that could be why the second half of the run was SO hard?? Does stopping half way through do that? At this point I'm wondering whether I should just try and repeat it...

Yes! Stopping was probably the problem, once you get going and get in to your stride it's best to keep going. Repeat it if you want to but why not try Run 2 (avoiding your lovely neighbour!) and see what happens? Good luck!
