So another week starts and back to the park. I ran for 37 minutes, up from last week's 33. With seven minutes warmup and five cool down, I managed 4.33 km in total, with the fastest km at 10.40 mins. The first half a kilometer running is still not nice, not being able to find my pace or breathing pattern. But after that things go smoothly. I could have gone longer but my husband Yan had completed his last run of week 3 and was sitting in the park cafe with a coffee for me. So two more 'easy runs' this week, and then up to 40 mins or so next week. Loving it overall. My body is changing shape, firmer and slimmer and I am so much stronger.

Well done, you are building up gradually which is what I want to do, so it is good to see how well you are progressing.

It takes me about 5 to 10 minutes at the start of the run to get my breathing and heart rate settled and then I feel it gets easier.

I wish someone was waiting with coffee for me at the end - sounds perfect!
