Week4 run 1 mind games

Going on to week 4 with a lot of trepidation , deliberately didn't look to see how far the runs would be as I was afraid I would psyche myself out. Woke to a rainy morning so decided to do it on the treadmill, took it really slow 5.4 km walking and 6.4 km 'runs' (still find it hard calling what I do run!) and found it surprisingly easy. Pleased that it felt so good but eternal worrier that I am concerned that outside on the hilly route won't be. Thanks everyone for all the advice so far - love this forum!!

That is the speed I went at on the treadmill and I don't know if I am any faster (if anything, slower) now I am outside in the big bad world.

Well done on completing it and don't worry, once you are outside, yes it will feel different, but there are a lot of distractions to keep your mind occupied.

Hello, I did the same run today and was also nervous about doing it and like you found it easier than I'd imagined! I think you'll be presently surprised when you run outside too.
