W6R1 troubles understood

I've just realised why this run was so hard for me. It's partly the elation wearing off from the 20 minutes, but also as the first 5 minutes are the hardest for me. On this run you have to do the worst part 3 times. Looking forward to W6R3

I had to go a different route today to avoid getting stuck in the amazing river of 'proper runners' doing Run Hackney. Incredible and inspiring. I'm now happily eating porridge and they are still hard at it.

Ha... I know...maybe its to stop us wanting to slip back to just doing 5 min runs. Think of it as a necessity in the build up to run 3. Keep going...😊

Thanks for the support. I'll keep plodding along.

Perhaps if you had the porridge first, your run might be easier.  An hour before and it's rocket fuel!

To be fair, week 6 is the worst week (ssssssssssssssh) so don't beat yourself up. Just move on

Porridge before? I'll try that. Thanks.
