Knee strength exercises

Hi all! New C25Ker here, currently on W3R3. I have pretty weak knees - genetic I think - and they've been occasionally painful but mostly just a bit wobbly-feeling since I started C25K. Anyone have any advice on rest day exercises that would help? I'm thinking rowing or cycling but stretches, weights etc are also an option. I have access to a small gym but it's not very well equipped and I feel a bit self conscious going in there.

Try these:

[Unlike the chap in the photos, you are allowed to smile when you do them]

The exercises mentioned really help me.  I do them most days and I have noticed my knees are much improved
