Its been another good and active week for me, culminating in another Park Run this morning, sunny but chilly today but a very good turn out for the Huddersfield Park Run in Greenhead Park, Huddersfield, a really nice traditional Victorian Park. I really enjoy the park runs, such a variety of people taking part from the proper runners who seem to run to the park, sprint round the course and then run home afterwards, to those who just want to be outside enoying the fresh air and getting a bit of exercise. All ages and sizes of people all getting their own thing from the run. Simply wonderful.  There's usually 600+ runners at this one, so a busy one. Turned out to be my best 5k yet, knocked 25 seconds off my PB with an official time of 31m 29s, Yay!!!

My 1 million step challenge in aid of Help for Heroes is also still going well, stats so far at the end of the 2nd week are as follows. Total steps so far 282996, 717004 to go. Total distance covered 151.93 miles. Weight loss 10lb and I am 53480 steps ahead of schedule.

Doing amazingly Big fella...go youx

You've just inspired me to look at doing a park run, I've been wondering where to go after graduation, that seems like a good goal to have! Obviously I'll be doing one in Lancashire, not stalking you in Yorkshiremanland ;o)

Park runs are great. Go for it. Theres no pressure to go fast at all and they are very well organised. Plenty of them around too. See parkrun.org.uk/events/events/

Very well attended so when you pick the person your stalking they will never know!! ;)  x

I'm thinking this time in a fortnight...wish me luck and do NOT circulate my photo in advance warning, best to just creep up on people unawares I'm thinking ;o)
