Week 6 Run 1

Just completed the first run of week 6 today and feeling elated. First 5 mins and in no time at all Laura said "that's 2 and a half minutes gone" and I was shocked, it came up so fast! I'm usually thinking it must be 2 and a half soon, has the app stopped? Has she gone to sleep? This is killing me! This spurred me on for the rest of the run. The middle 8 mins was a challenge, however and I kept it slow. For the final run I actually managed to run up a dreaded slope I always avoid and right over the bridge. Also used Map My Run to measure 5K for future training. Really think I can do it now. I never ever thought I would be able to say I go out running...and I enjoy it!! Brilliant app.

There must have been something in the air today, because I had a great run too - 28 mins, and I didn't flake out at the end.
