Drama. ....my ipod stopped mid run. .....what a  strange sensation listening to my own breathing, cars and a dog barking which nearly made me poo myself. Much prefer music. Wasn't a walk in the park literally but I now know to say to myself 'this ain't gonna be over anytime soon so suck it up'.

The programme works for both mental and physical strength. Let's just say. ...I'm getting my legs out this summer!

I'm a no music convert, and I love the solitude, and listening to my breathing and the sounds of the countryside (even when running in Glasgow I could hear birdsong everywhere!)

It was nice to try it. I like to run in the rain!

You run in Glasgow?  Have you seen the hills in Glasgow?  :)  They are mad!  I did Pollock Park Parkrun with my daughter in October and thought I was going to die! :)

I found running by the Kelvin ok, but I did stop at the bottom of Kelvingrove park!  I love on the Moray Firth, so I haven't done hills yet...  That's for later!

Parts of that park I would have bother walking in!  I am supposed to be doing the Great Women's Run in Glasgow with my daughter in June so that should be fun!

Some days I want music , others I want the freedom of listening to my asthma, it's good to mix it up

Haha. Ah yes. The wheeze. Wonder do the people passing us hear it?

Yes...  I walked a route in Glasgow, as I didn't know the area, before running it.  It was very popular, and I observed a range of running styles (some I wanted to stop and give them some advice, after all I had done 5 weeks!) and I could hear strangled breathing variations from yards away...

For months I used to run to music, but now I never do. I too like to hear the sounds around me - especially now that the larks are back singing over the fields and the lambs in the meadow.
