W5R1 - joining the club!

It seems quite a few of us are on week 5 this week so here is my experience of today's run. Had to work out first whether to go out due to my groin incident at the weekend but although I still felt stiff, it wasn't painful so I went for it. Chose a new route tonight and I think that really helped. I don't use the podcasts or listen to music so the same route can get a bit boring. My route was quite busy with traffic in some parts and lots of runners in other parts. Has anyone else noticed a lot more people out running in the last couple of weeks?

Anyway the run went really well, found a nice rhythm and didn't collapse at the end - always a welcome bonus! Again though I got too hot, wrong clothes again. Time to ditch the winter top I think. Actually looking forward to run 2 and trying not to worry about run 3!

Well done LisaRose, yes I have noticed more runners locally maybe all getting ready for local 5 or 10k runs.

Show off :D Seriously, well done. Rhythm is something I'm severely lacking so I'm very impressed. Going to try W5R2 tomorrow with the podcast and music to see if that helps at all (normally do the App with no music).

I wonder if we will both graduate on the same week (probably subject to you steering clear from any more gymnastics)!!
