'Twas a little harder for me today and I guess I didn't help myself by taking a 4.5k dog walk before I did this run. I was sluggish, so no dog walking before a run next time. I guessed it would be ok and thought of it as a good warm up. But completed 5k in 39 mins. Pretty slow to be honest but that was the best my legs could do today. Against a very cold wind too, but hey, it only makes ya stronger 😅

39 minutes for a 5k is still not a bad time, especially after walking the dog too And yes, cold wind does make it harder, and make you stronger! As does the dog walking In fact, the more I think about it a 39 min 5k at the end of week 6 is pretty damn good. Go you!

Skimming your previous posts it sounds as though getting to the end of C25K and keeping running without getting injured has been an issue in the past. I am wondering if you could ease off the pace and invest in this being a long term thing rather than an occasional spasm? Covering 5k in 39 minutes in W6R3 sounds fast to me.
Would it work to run with your dog?
