Any recommendations for a simple heart rate monitor?

Can anyone recommend a reliable (if there is such a thing) heart rate monitor? I'm looking for a simple, budget, no bells or whistles monitor that could sync with Strava on my phone?

There are many inexpensive HRMs available - always chest belt style. The simplest of all are those which come with their own watches - probably around 25 UK pounds. Others will pair to some smartphones via running Apps like Runkeeper.

I can recommend the Wahoo Tickr range of belts -- au.wahoofitness.com/devices... For these to pair with a phone and Strava, your phone will need to have Bluetooth 4 LE ( low energy) ability - this is usually found in the latest Iphones and the very latest Android phones.
