Hi just finished week two enjoying it started off week one with general aches and pains this has all cleared with stretching in fact not been as pain free in my back and hips for a long time, only to get pain in my feet I would not really call it pain cannot really explain it, it moves round and is in both feet it does not hurt at all while jogging I don't want it to get any worse I have some mizuno trainers. I think I will go and get new trainers tomorrow I am doing foot stretches should I completely rest? Has any one else had this. I am worried as am enjoying the jogging and don't want to stop when I haven't got really started.

My ankles and feet generally sometimes ache. I have been looking after them a lot more - wearing socks whenever possible to keep them warm, enjoying the electric blanket and even sit on the couch in the evening with a blanket over my legs and feet! The other thing I feel helps my feet and legs is running on soft ground, grass where possible or firm mud and even a verge rather than the paths. Not sure if any of that helped, can anyone give u a foot massage?
A gait analysis may show that your shoes are inappropriate for you, even though they are a reputable brand. Get checked out at a proper running shop. That said, you will have all sorts of aches for the first few weeks of any new exercise regime.
