Thanks for the repost. In 2014 we had one of the biggest teams In the country. There are four different challenges. it is really structured so whatever your capabilites are there is something. I'm doing the 30min a day because I really have to work on my core and stretches so I've planned some really good 1/2 hour stretch sessions during the 50 days. The plan is that after 50 days it becomes a habit so it is best to not stretch yourself too much. I know on non running days I can do a gentle 30 min walk as well helping me towards my recommended 10,000 steps a day.
Hi. I missed Rfc's original post but have done this before as I signed up to the C25K team the last two years. Didn't complete last years due to unforseen circumstances but had intended to sign up this year again. There are several options and I find the 30mins per day suits me as I can choose which exercise (apart from running) I want to do be it walking, cycling, cardio, swimming etc
It's a great motivator and I need to have something to aim for.
I'll be on the team, may just start now to get into the mindset, also have my daughters wedding in April so a good reason to start.
I've signed up. I did it in 2014 but gave it a miss last year. As I'm trying for 1000Km this year I'm going for the 5K every day for 50 days. If I say it here it's gonna happen!
