Wk5 run 1 - just though I'd check in! 😁

Hello!

Not posted for a little while so just thought I'd update. Been reading all your lovely motivational posts though πŸ‘.

So I started wk 5 today. I did it but honestly didn't think I would. However I've started every single week thinking that but you just get through it don't you?!

Can't say I'm looking forward to the 20 minute run but we shall see.....πŸ˜³πŸ™ˆ.

So I've now been running for a month. I am sleeping much better, my mental wellbeing has improved (feel livelier/happier). I've not lost any weight but I've not put on any either, not an ounce and I'm eating what I want so not dieting. This has never happened before in my life (πŸ˜‚).

Two different people asked me today though if I'd lost weight. I think it was my clothes but I'll take the compliment 😁.

How did everyone else find week 5?

Hiya! Well done, I think week 5 going into week 6 was a turning point for me, realising I could actually do it!

Keep going, that 20 minutes is not too bad at all!

Thanks Elsie, I can't wait to see if I can do it.

I agree with Elsie. I had psyched myself out so bad about having to run 20 minutes but when I did it I felt great. I break the time up in my head like its just two ten- minute runs. Good luck.

Well done!

Just completed my week first week 5 run too. My main challenge was the weather but I have to say the runs felt no more difficult then when I embarked on any other week. Just hope it continues like this!

The hardest run so far was week 1 run 1! πŸ˜‚

Well done Kezz. How lovely to get a compliment. You have probably toned up and look slimmer. It's great to feel so much healthier and have more energy too.

Keep going. I think I took my time over week 5 and did more of each run than required, cos I was worried about failing,

Just do it any way you feel ready for, there is no right or wrong way to success.

Good luck :)

Well done! It's fantastic isn't it. And awful too of course! I'm right with you on week 5, trying not to think about the next 2 runs. I find every run quite challenging to be honest, and worry that I'm not fit enough or fast enough for this running lark, but giving it my best shot! Let us know how you go with week 5, good luck and keep it up! Nat :)

Hey everyone I did it! Ran for 20 MINUTES!

And do you know what? It was easier than I expected. I really took it steady though, paced myself but I did it! Can't believe it!

Bring on week 6 πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘
