Hi all,

Hope you all had a wonderful xmas and looking forward to New Year too! I was absolutely dreading this week as in my head I thought it was so much more running than I have done in the previous weeks. I was pleasantly surprised that I completed this run with relative ease! I was so chuffed I walked through the door to my son and burst into tears................me running...........OMG!

This time round with my weight loss and my attempt at running, I'm really feeling like I can actually do this! So so happy!

I know you will understand where I'm coming from so thought I'd share for anyone who thinks they can't do it!!!!

Love Elsie xxx

Well done! I completed my first run from week 4 yesterday as well. I also agree it sounded a lot worse than what it was.

Yeh well done Saul. I was wondering if you had because I remembered we are in the same place! It's great to get this far though hey? Next run is Thursday, how about you?

Hi Elsie,

The journey so far has been unbelievable!!! I cant believe that i have got this far in what seems like such a small time. I Particularly like the fact/idea that you can pop onto this forum afterwards and share it with others.

If the weather holds out (forecast heavy rain) my next run should be tomorrow evening. The way i'm feeling/geared up for it, I may even attempt it in the rain.

Are you recording your times, distances, etc's?

Let me know how you get on Thursday.

:) x

I've just been recording on Runkeeper and taking a screenshot at the end! It's quite interesting seeing the distances and stuff. I might write some down in my food book actually, that's a good plan.

Well done on being positive and running in the rain! I don't think I could carry on in the gym now, I'm enjoying the fresh air.

Let me know how you do tomorrow!

:-) x

Well done Elsie! Isn't it fab?! This really is such a good programme. There were times when I had my doubts but I stuck with it and hey ho - I now have a graduate sticker!

You will too in a few weeks time!

Brilliant Elsie ! We can totally understand the tears .....

I remember blubbing a few times whilst doing the programme . It seems to bring all kinds of emotions to the fore .

Well done ! You're doing great, keep going ! :-) xxxx

Well done Elsie. I am not that far ahead - just starting week 7 - and I can really relate to your sense of accomplishment. Each run is a success and something to be proud of.

Well done, i have cried tears of joy many times over. Its a great feeling. I put my favourite song on and imagine crossing the finish line at a 5k event or something similar. Im quite big so even now it must look odd for people to see me run and run and run he he, makes me smile though xxx

Oh my, well done. I did this run today and found it really hard. I couldn't get my breathing right at all. I decided to try a different route and stupidly started off with a hill so I'm hoping that had something to do with it and it's not just the increase in the length of time running. I did keep going and like you I was very pleased I completed it. Well done again.
