Feel like a proper runner

Since graduating 5 weeks ago I've been running 3 x 30 mins a week but last week for various reasons didn't get out for a run at all. So 8 days since my last run I was a bit apprehensive this morning when I set out, but I needn't have worried. As soon as I started running I was straight back into it. I passed 2 other people out running early this morning and both gave me the hand raise and nod that acknowledged me as a fellow runner, I was so chuffed, I finally feel I am a proper runner :)

It's nice to know that all that hard work does not disappear with a few days off, isn't it? And yes, you are definately a proper runner now!🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻

Hi,

Of course you are a proper runner!! I know the feeling, I was so chuffed when I got that nod and the wave first time from a fellow runner!! It is amazing how all that running coming back even after a break, even though I have heard when you have a break of few weeks, you can get slower.

Good luck and keep running!!!
