I was nervous about doing this early morning in the dark, but after taking advice from some lovely people on this forum I got out there at 6am this morning! Once out I was surprised that it wasn't pitch black as I had thought and there was quite a lot of house lights on.....so with the street lights and house lights I felt safe.....and it felt really relaxing. This 2nd run I found a little harder than the 1st? My main problem is my breathing....I know I am very unfit....so is this something that will improve?

Week 1 run 2
Yes, it will improve, just pant, don't try and hide it, deep breaths as Laura says.
Another thing is, just back off on the speed (pace) a tad, right down near walking pace, although you probably think your going so slow anyway, it doesn't matter, a lot go off too fast anyway..😃 BTW well done for getting out and doing it!
Haha! Yes, I remember feeling like a cartoon character with my heart leaping out of my chest in week one!
It does get better, honest. Just keep things nice and slow and steady for now.
Well done you for getting out there and getting it done! Yes as the others have said your breathing will get better. Things will feel more comfortable. Just take it steady and stick with it. I always found the 2nd run of each week the toughest x 😊
