I'm so excited I have done this. I can't believe that Laura said 'only 10 minutes to go' 10 MINUTES???!!! At the beginning of all this I couldn't even think that I could run for 10 mins straight never mind even think 'only 10 minutes - nearly there'.
It nearly all fell apart on Friday when I went into A& E with an irregular heart beat and was told I had to stop running. I only had one more run to finish C25K and after that, the rest of my life to run. I couldn't stop NOW. It was then it dawned on me that even though I'm slow and I nearly always wonder why I am doing this, if I had to give it up I would be really put out. Anyway, after 8 hours of tests I had a diagnosis, and no, I'm not going to drop down dead if I exert myself, so I can carry on running. YEAH - C25K+ here I come!!!
Thanks everyone on here for the support that has kept me going!

Congrats!!!! And phew, thank goodness you can carry on. The ability to run for 30 mins is a gift you've given yourself. Definitely hold on to it!! Well done to you and enjoy where it takes you 😃
Oh that's fantastic news Stella 😊 congratulations! You should be well chuffed with yourself. Your news from the hospital must be so reassuring and you can now be in to consolidate. C25k+ podcasts are your logical next step ☺
No rush though. Keep progressing slow but sure, same as you've been doing ☺
Thanks everyone. I am really pleased with myself. I do feel it's a kind of gift Rachel. These past 9 weeks have taught me to be proud of my body being strong enough to improve week by week. It has taken my mind off the scales so now my aim is to keep on getting stronger and fitter rather than obsess about the pounds.
Next, I may have a go at ZombieRun just for fun!!!
