Having attempted the first 2 runs in week 6 and suffered a painful hip I rested for a week and decided run 3 a long run with no walking probably wasn't a good idea after a week off. So I have repeated week 6 runs 1 and 2 completing run 2 today. I don't know what it is about week 6 but I'm finding it quite a struggle. However I'm determined to do the 25 minute run in a couple of days time. I've run for 20 minutes so surely I can do another 5 on top of that.

Week 6 struggle
Week 6 leaps out and strikes terror into the hearts of those, who only a few runs ago, thought they could conquer the universe after completing Week 5. Do not fear, you have done absolutely the right thing by resting and repeating and I am sure you will sail through that final run. W6 should come with a warning against complacency in the same way W5R3 should come with an inane grin warning.
I'm sure there was a poll somewhere that said that week 6 is a complete nightmare. Not sure why, but loads of us find it so.
Keep going and let us know how you get on.
Yep Week 6 is definitely a toughie !
Especially after the euphoria of doing the Week 5 Run 3 it certainly rears its ugly head and bites you on the bum !
Take it slow and steady Marina, and keep telling yourself that yes if you can do 20 minutes , you can do twenty five. Break it up in your head to 2 , 2.5 minute chunks .
You can do it , Good Luck ! xxx
