Be inspired - and NEVER give up...

Perhaps one of the best inspirations for C25K is Steve Way (Commonwealth Games runner at 40+, formerly a 20-a-day smoker and 100+kg food junkie). But there are lesser stories; I didn't start running until 30+, and I recall 10 years later, just aiming NOT to finish last in a series of short swim-run events in Bournemouth. At the prime age of 47, I decided to do my first ironman... (well the rest is history).

Anyway, here are a few more inspiring individuals from close friends, who did not start running / competing until about the same age as I began, and this is enough to inspire me to get back out again (as I approach 60) and run in support of MIND charity, hoping it might inspire others to make the most of what hidden talents God may have given them too...
