What a difference a couple of days make..

Wow.. on Monday I had a terrible day and gave up after 14 minutes when I should have run 28 !

Last night, I took on board lots of advice from here. From breathing properly, fully hydrating before the run to slowing my pace, just ever so slightly, it all seemed to work. I breezed through the 28 minutes. In all honesty I think I could have done the 5k last night as I felt completely comfortable.

Apart from the first 5 minutes which always feel like torture and my legs always feel like lead weights, once I was in my stride it felt great. Including the warmups I covered 5.5km so I would estimate I'm about 0.6km from my running goal.

I still hope to complete my last run this week but if not, I know I'm not far off now anyway!
