Week 7 here I come...πŸ˜€

I bet lots of people say this but I can't believe I've managed to make it this far. When I completed Week 6 run 3 (25mins) I couldn't quite believe I'd done it - never thought I'd be able to run that far without stopping! It's such a good feeling and felt really proud of myself. This is a great program and so glad I'm doing it. Plus it makes me much happier and isn't that what everyone wants!

Yes, I feel exactly the same! Amazed at the difference a few weeks can make. I have just been checking out running clubs in my local area so I can carry on improving after I finish the program - me, I would never have thought it. I think it may just be one of the best things I have ever done! Good luck with week 7, I am about to do W7 R2 this afternoon.

Thanks very much and enjoy your week 7 runs! That's a good idea about a running club, I might look into that myself! Yes, I agree, one of the best things I've done too! All the best :)

Hi there, thanks very much and I wish you all the best with your running too. Honestly, if I can do it so can you - it's not always easy but so worth it and with each run you will surprise yourself with your progression - just take it step by step and keep going! :)

It took me ages to get to where you are, but it really feels good when you do, doesn't it? Just for that feeling of achievement, alone, it would be worth taking on this challenge.

And yes, the happiness is the biggest surprise of all.

Hey, thanks and great you are at the same stage! Yes it feels SO good and I think it's around this stage Week 7ish you really feel a big sense of achievement. We have just got to push on to the end now and then beyond! Enjoy your next runs and best of luck! ;)

Yes, nice to have some company sometimes as we jog along this road. Those others out there don't really understand how it feels, do they? And you have fun completing this part of this journey, too. :-)

(Do you find yourself waving at other runners sometimes, just on impulse, too? Or being greeted in similar fashion.)

Congratulations futurefit. I'm at exactly the same point as you and still find it hard to believe. Have to do even more as I saw my GP today about some ongoing health problems (hadn't seen him, he'd been on holiday) and it turns out that I have major problems with the veins in my legs due to being overweight/desk job/previous lack of exercise and the only way to improve things is lose weight and get fit. At least I'm on the right track.

Novicerunner45 - have faith and you will do it. Just do exactly what the program says (or a bit more in the way of different exercise if you feel so inclined) and it will happen. Good luck and congratulations on having made a start.
