On the sick couch

Pesky summer cold has turned into a chest infection. I am so not a happy bunny, been training really well and then boom. Have not been able to consistently run for 2 weeks, managed a 30 minute run on Saturday and that has really knocked me sideways. I felt okish running but afterwards I was really paying for it and have done so since then. More enforced rest for me I think :-(

Or one those 5 + 8 + 5 runs? (Taking each sub-run as it comes). You'd know yourself best, but maybe there's some place between "all" and "nothing" that you can use? Maybe even just go for a long walk, and see how that goes?


What a pain Mat! You're doing the right thing and the road will still be there for you when you get back!
