Are you able to move your limbs?

I can only move my left arm like normal right arm is restricted and lower limbs no.

Why by next month? It's a bit sudden.

Just having a look at the contents of your fridge, freezer and cupboards will flag up what unhealthy foods and drinks you can get rid of. If they are out of your life they are not bothering you. Replace them with healthy meat, fish, fruit and vegetables and you will see the weight come off

If you eat healthily, and make it your normal routine then, you will achieve your weight loss goals. You have to be persistent and determined. It takes willpower to make the changes necessary to bring about the results you want.

My fridge freezer is full of vegetables that's all I pretty much eat, that along with chicken breasts.

Hello Misc1,

Weight loss is always a balance between the calories that you consume in food and drink, your basal metabolic rate and the calories that you expend during exercise.

With you reliant on a wheelchair for mobility it may be harder for you to increase your activity level. Are you able to swim, or do you have a physio that can recommend exercises for you? Without increasing your activity level, you'll be reliant on calorie-monitored diet to lose weight. Unfortunately you will not be able to lose much weight safely in one month.

We are a running forum here, and so our instinct is to say "go running". I am so sorry that it is not an option for you. However, there is an active Weight Loss community on HealthUnlocked...

They may have some alternative ideas for you.

If your BMI is over 30 you can go to Slimming World get your Doc to do it. Which dies work without exercise. I lost 1 1/2 stone with it with no exercise. Great social too for men and women

As with most things today they never tell you what your entitled to.

Yes that's very true, but thank you I'll look into that.

Have you had a look at this page on NHS Choices? It seems to have a lot of helpful advice:

You can use myfitnesspal to track your calories (assuming you're in the UK).

exercise is very over-rated as a help to weightloss, and no-one seems interested in getting fit, which is what exercise is all about.

BUT if you have health issues to the extent that you are in a wheelchair, you need to talk to a doctor or at least a nutrition specialist for advice. Advice fro amateurs like me could well be completely wrong for you.

good luck
