Week 6 complete

Well I completed week 6 yesterday and managed the 25 minute run. Ended up doing nearly 6km including the warm up and cool down. Can't believe how far I've come as I remember thinking week 3 was difficult. Can't wait to graduate though I go on holidays next week and being just me and my 5 year old I probably won't get out to do it so I'll probably repeat a week or two when I get back but the main thing is I know I can do this 😊

  • That's totally awesome well done! I'm on w4 r2 this evening and i struggled on the last one as my calf muscles ceased up but seeing you guys make such headway is so inspiring!

    Take your time though, go steady. At this stage you want no upsets. Week 6 is the toughie, so you're over the worst

    I would try and run on holiday so that you keep the momentum. It will be fun!

    One of the pleasures of running is doing it in new places, so take your running gear in case you get the chance. Enjoy, you're doing so well!

  • Thanks all. I had thought to take my gear with me but I'm guessing the only time I'll get is when she's in kids club (if she goes) but that'll be over the middle of the day when temperatures will be in the 30s. Might take it just in case though. I know id feel great if I could get out even a couple of times
