Found the Healthunlocked website yesterday and thought it looked good, read through some of the lists which all seemed really supportive and motivational.
Downloaded the C25K podcast, and and thought I'd give it a go! I did a bit of running a few years ago, but never really enjoyed it, so the structure of having someone tell me what to do appealed!
Didn't really give much thought to when I was going to start, and then today was browsing through all your posts and thought I just need to get on with it, and not put it off.
Horrible rainy day today, but put on my trainers and coat, rounded up the dog and off we went.
It stopped raining and brightened up, a good omen!
Did the usual loop through some woods and along a bit of road, and we both really enjoyed it. (Although note to self to buy new sports bra, as think the elastic gone soggy in my current one!)
Lying happily on the floor now with a very muddy looking tummy...that's my dog by the way, not me!
Anyone else on their first day/week? How are you finding it?

Thanks for the reply Nik, I'll be relying on you to let me know how what aches and pains I have to look forward to as you are a few runs ahead! I don't think I'm going to have a speeding problem, I'm quite good at just plodding along. My excuse is I'm pacing the dog, breaking her in gently...she's 10, so quite sedate now.
Guess you will be starting week 2 soon, so good luck
