This ^^^ is the cheesy ass smug grin of the first class honours certified couch potato turned runner. This lazy bones only went and finished c25k tonight - and kept going for my first EVER non stop 5k, 39 minutes.

Yep, you are in good company here. As couch potatoes go we were all champions at one point. Not now though, no siree Bob. Running our butts off, us lot these days.

Keep running! Gently and steadily and build up gradually. Take your time and you'll be fine. C25k+ podcasts would be your next step.

I think the photo maybe isn't telling the whole story. I was bright pink and still panting. Hence only half a grin. I needed to focus my energy on not passing out
